Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment and a booking confirmation from SeaGypsy Sailing.

2. Payment

Full payment or the agreed deposit must be received at the time of booking. Any outstanding balance must be paid before the commencement of the charter unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellations by the Guest

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds, where applicable, will be issued in accordance with the cancellation policy stated at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations by SeaGypsy Sailing

SeaGypsy Sailing reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend a charter due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, mechanical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, guests will be offered an alternative date or a refund where appropriate.

5. Arrival Time

Guests are responsible for arriving at the departure location on time. SeaGypsy Sailing cannot be held responsible for missed departures due to late arrival, traffic delays or other personal circumstances.

6. Safety

The skipper's decision regarding the operation of the vessel and the safety of all persons on board is final. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the skipper and crew at all times.

7. Guest Conduct

SeaGypsy Sailing reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate a charter without refund if any guest behaves in a manner that is unsafe, abusive, disruptive or likely to cause damage to the vessel or discomfort to other guests.

8. Alcohol & Intoxicating Substances

Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted where appropriate. The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited. The skipper reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate a charter if a guest is deemed unfit to participate safely.

9. Health & Medical Conditions

Guests are responsible for informing SeaGypsy Sailing of any medical conditions, allergies, mobility requirements or other relevant circumstances that may affect their participation in the charter.

10. Personal Belongings

All personal belongings are brought on board at the owner's risk. SeaGypsy Sailing accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property.

11. Damage to the Vessel

Guests may be held liable for any loss or damage caused to the vessel, its equipment or furnishings through negligence, misuse or wilful misconduct.

12. Children

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout the charter.

13. Liability

Whilst every effort is made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, SeaGypsy Sailing shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or expense arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

14. Weather Conditions

Sailing activities are dependent upon suitable weather and sea conditions. SeaGypsy Sailing reserves the right to modify routes, timings or itineraries where necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of guests.

15. Photography & Marketing

Photographs and videos may be taken during charters and used for promotional, marketing and social media purposes. Guests who do not wish to appear in such content should notify SeaGypsy Sailing before departure.

16. Force Majeure

SeaGypsy Sailing shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, governmental restrictions, strikes or other unforeseen circumstances.

17. Amendments

SeaGypsy Sailing reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking shall apply to the charter.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking and participating in a charter, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
