Before You Sail

We recommend arriving at the marina at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for boarding and a short safety briefing. Comfortable clothing, non-marking footwear, sunglasses, a hat and sun protection are recommended for all guests.

What to Bring

To make the most of your time on the water, we suggest bringing:

Sun cream
Sunglasses
A hat or cap
A light jacket or jumper, particularly for evening sails
A camera or mobile phone for photographs
Any personal medication you may require

On Board Experience

Our yacht is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable sailing experience. Guests are welcome to relax, take in the views, enjoy the sea breeze and experience life under sail. Our skipper and crew are happy to answer questions and share their knowledge of the local area and sailing.

Food & Refreshments

Depending on the charter selected, refreshments may be available on board. Guests are welcome to discuss any specific requirements with us in advance. We kindly ask that all food and drink are enjoyed responsibly and that the yacht is kept tidy throughout the trip.

Weather & Sailing Conditions

Sailing is a weather-dependent activity, and conditions can vary throughout the day. Even during warmer months, it may feel cooler on the water, so bringing an extra layer is always advisable. Our experienced skipper will ensure the safest and most enjoyable route based on the conditions.

Wildlife & Coastal Views

One of the highlights of sailing with SeaGypsy Sailing is the opportunity to experience stunning coastal scenery and local wildlife. Sightings can vary depending on the season and conditions, making every trip unique.

Families & Children

Families are welcome aboard, and children often enjoy the adventure of being out on the water. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise children at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
