Service Description
Join us for an unforgettable 2 day sailing adventure from Brighton Marina to Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne aboard Mira. We'll set sail around 8.00 AM after a friendly meet and greet and safety briefing. The journey to Eastbourne will take us along the stunning Sussex coastline, arriving around lunchtime. We'll drop anchor just off the beach, prepare lunch and settle into the yacht's cockpit to enjoy fantastic views of the air show. After the display, we'll head into Sovereign Harbour for the evening where you can explore the vibrant restaurants, bars and shops or head into town for more options. The next morning (not too early} after a relaxed breakfast we'll set off again to enjoy a second chance to see the airshow in case the previous day's weather wasn't ideal. After lunch we'll make our way back to Brighton Marina arriving early evening. Included in the price: 2 x breakfast 2 x lunch Snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Overnight stay on board Mira including all fuel and mooring fees. Evening meals are not included and can be enjoyed ashore at a restaurant of your choice. Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club is a great option. There are only 4 places available on each trip so early booking is essential! Please note the weather and air show conditions are beyond our control. This trip is booked as a sailing adventure to Eastbourne and back with participation in the airshow viewing dependent on conditions and at the skipper's discretion. As with all our trips it may be possible to join the yacht the night before departure. Free parking can be arranged at Brighton Marina. Cancellation Policy
By booking any trip with us you are agreeing to the full Terms & Conditions of Sea Gypsy Sailing. BOOKINGS: All bookings are considered provisional until the clients request has been reviewed. A booking confirmation will be made via Email. The clients booking will only be confirmed and binding when an Email confirmation has been sent to the client. If we are unable to confirm a clients booking, a full refund will be returned to the client. Sea Gypsy Sailing reserve the right to cancel or decline a clients booking at our own discretion. PAYMENT and CANCELLATIONS: All bookings\payments are to be paid in full at the time of booking. Cancellations made by the client 28 days or more before requested departure date shall receive a full refund minus a 3% booking & admin fee. Cancellations made by the client 15 days to 27 days before the departure date shall only receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made by the client 14 days or less including the departure date shall not receive a refund. Any cancellations must be given in writing by Email. If the company or skipper cancel the trip due to the weather and or vessel not being suitable at the time of the booked trip, a full refund or re-booking will made available. The company or skipper will not be liable for any costs incurred by the client other than the booking fee. We recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance with a reputable company. DELAYS: If you are delayed, please inform us as soon as possible, we will try to wait for a reasonable time but may be constrained by tide, weather and the nature of the trip. It is the responsibility of the client to arrive on time. Should you arrive late and miss the trip, Sea Gypsy Sailing will not be liable to refund you. UNDER 18s: Under 18’s will only be accepted when accompanied by a parent or guardian. HEALTH: Sailing is a physical activity and it is the clients responsibility to ensure they are in good health mentally and physically to participate in the trip they have booked. Sea sickness can affect anyone at any time, if it is serious enough for the skipper to deem a client to be suffering where they become an issue to themselves, others or the vessel they may be asked to leave at the nearest port at their own expense.
